Overview
We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service and hospitality. This position is a full time role and expected to work 5 days a week. Tips are pooled
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner (if hostess is busy).
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Lightspeed system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, enhancing guest relations.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during food handling and service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to collaborate as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
